Best Answer: Read my standard answer for this below. A lot of people get nervous. I'd say half of the questions I answer about FLVS are from people who are nervous about doing their DBAs. Think about it: Most teachers have 100+ students to teach, and I'd say that every single one of those students is somewhat nervous before doing their DBAs. Let's be honest: Who in the world would be totally confident having their teacher call them up and ask them questions on the spot.

But don't worry-your teacher knows you're going to be nervous and will take that into account when you are answering the questions. Here's the standard answer I give when answering DBA questions: Kind of questions: Major concepts How long: 10-15 minutes max, most I've had are a little less than 10 minutes.

The questions won't be the hard. If you've been doing well on the tests and assignments, then you're all set. If not, review what you don't understand. The role of the DBA is to make sure that you don't fail the upcoming test. So, if you feel prepared for the test, then you are 100% prepared for the DBA.

Besides, if you don't do well on the DBA, then you can just retake it when you are ready. The teacher will ask you questions about the course. It depends on what teacher you have. (I had two FLVS Algebra II teachers because I had to get switched to another teacher when she had too many students.) The first teacher usually asked me like two or three quick and easy questions that you had to answer on the spot. Like she'd say for example, write down this problem: x+1=1, so what is x? So, of course, you'd say 0. But then she'd give you a harder question that you'd have to write down and send in to her when you finished with it.

The second teacher was big on answering questions on the spot. She didn't give questions to send in later. So, she'd give you like 10 questions you'd have to write down and answer on the spot. All in all, as long as you watch the review videos (which there are a ton of in math, at least), ask your teacher questions if you get lost, and go over the lesson reviews, you should get a 100 on your DBA.

World History Module 6 Project Haitian Revolution Slaves of the French colonies revolted on April 21st in 1791 and this revolt lasted until January 1st 1804. This revolution occurred in modern day Haiti. The reasoning for the revolt of slaves is slaves had enough of the cruelty that the French had put them through. This is significant to history because it formed the nation we know today as Haiti. This connects to other events in history by the colonization of Haiti and Imperialism. This war was located around Eastern Europe in 3 places, Germany, Italy, and Bohemia.

This war happened because Bismarck had attacked Holstien in 1866 and after a while everyone who allied with Germany and Prussia eventually started fighting each other. This even was significant to history by expelling Austria from Germany and it “dissolved” the German Federation. This connected to other events because just like the Haitian Revolution, it was a war.

Opium Wars The First Opium war was fought from 1839 to 1842 and was between Great Britain and China. Their viewpoints on things like trade and the administration for justice in foreign countries caused conflict among the nations.

Most of the reason that they fought was because of the trade systems Great Britain established, they took advantage of China. China lost the first war and had to accept the trade ways. The Second Opium War was between 1856 and 1860 and was against the Qing Dynasty and the British Empire. Both wars were fought for almost the exact same reasons.
