I have not bought any study material yet so quite flexible. And from what I understand, 4 months of studying is good enough (provided you take it seriously, 1-2 hours a day and make your way through the texts and flash cards). What would you recommend I should go with- 2015 or 2016? I would like to start prep in April 2016.
Your advise is greatly appreciated. CSCP, I have the same question as Amit and Moazzam. I bought 2014 learning system at the end of 2014 thinking I would pass it in early 2015. But I got pregnant and started to deal with many other personal issues in my life as well as manage a stressful job in supply chain so I could nt keep up with studying and passing the exam in 2015 as my original plan. Now things are more settle and my baby is 2 month old so I want to pass the exam in 2016 (taking 2015 exam version during the first two exam windows in North America) using 2014 learning system. Please let me know if i would have any issue with dated materials or I have to buy 2015/2016 to start my studying again in order to study and pass it in 2016.
Hi Vi, If you bought the 2014 CSCP Learning System, your one year access to the online practice questions by now would have expired. You still have the hardcopy textbooks, which is one important component of the CSCP Learning System, but the online practice questions is a very critical component too. If you somehow get the access extended, then I would say it’s not a big concern to use 2014 textbooks and online practice questions for available 2015 version exam in 2016, as the change between 2014 and 2015 is minor; If you do not have access to the online practice questions anymore, then I would be very concerned. I believe for most people, it is very unlikely to pass the exam without intensive practice with online practice questions. I do know some people passed exam with only the textbooks, but that is definitely not the majority.
